Upcoming Training for Volunteer Translators

Memory Way is preparing an upcoming training program for volunteer translators who will support families of missing Ukrainian and international personnel through the International Family Assistance Center (IFAC).

Language access is a critical barrier for many families seeking information about loved ones who are missing in action. Volunteer translators play a vital role in bridging communication gaps between families, Ukrainian institutions, and international partners.

The training will focus on:

  • Humanitarian communication and sensitivity when working with families in distress
  • Accurate translation of official documents and case-related materials
  • Ethical standards, confidentiality, and trauma-informed engagement
Coordination workflows within the IFAC support system
  • This initiative reflects Memory Way’s commitment to building a professional, compassionate, and reliable support network for families navigating complex and emotionally difficult circumstances.

Additional details regarding training dates, formats, and participation requirements will be shared as they become available.
